FAQ’s

How can I be sure that the quality is good?
At your request, we will be happy to send you free samples so that you can compare our products to some other products you may have seen at your local depot or retail store. Our products all feature full warranties. If we wouldn't put it in our home, we don't want to put it in yours.

How can you sell it so cheap?
Simple, we manufacturer the flooring ourselves. The middleman (the retailer) has been eliminated and the savings are passed on to you. The product you see on our website can only be purchased directly from us.

Do you carry other brands such as Wilsonart, Bruce, Pergo, Mannington, etc.?
Absolutely not! We are not a retail store with accounts with a number of distributors.
Our product is manufactured in Asia specifically for us and is imported into the US
and sold straight to you. We don’t spend time or money marketing the product, we
let the quality and the price do the selling.

Questions about your products
How does your product compare to my local depot products, such as Pergo, Bruce, and Nafco?
The majority of our products carry a better warranty than these "name brand" products. We research new products extensively before we commit to them, oftentimes visiting the manufacturer overseas. Our products are as good as or even better than the competition.

What do I do if I have a claim or warranty issue with the product?
Just call us. We make it a point to solve problems quickly and with constant communication with the customer. We want you to be a part of the process every step of the way.

Where are your products made?
Our products are manufactured all over the world. We have contracted with several of the largest manufacturers to ensure that you are getting the best product for the least amount of money.

Questions about installation
How do I determine how many square feet I need?
Simply measure the length and width of your floor and multiply them. For example,
if your room is 12 feet wide and 13 feet long (12x13) you would need 156 square feet. Always add an extra 7 to 10% to your total for trimming or waste. If you feel unsure, simply measure your room and call us, we will happy to assist you.

Do I need clamps or straps to install your laminate floor?
No. Straps are only needed on floors that require glue. We feature only glue less quick locking laminate products.

Can all of your products be installed in our bathroom?
We do not recommend installing any laminate floor in a bathroom due to moisture.
All of our other products are well suited for a bathroom application.

Why do I have to use a foam underlayment with my new laminate floor?
The foam underlayment acts as a moisture barrier and cushion. It also helps hide any imperfections in your subfloor and makes installation much easier. Having an underlayment with sound deadening qualities also helps eliminate the hollow cracking sound that you hear when walking over any type of floating floor.

How do install your products around doorways, fireplace or other similar situations?
We offer matching trim moldings for most of our products. See our accessory items to determine where and how these should be used.

Can I really "Do It Myself" as far as installation, or am I going to get in over my head?
Several of us here at eFloorz have installed these products ourselves (Yes, even the ladies!). We have customers call us back all the time to tell us how happy they are that they did it themselves. If you’re still unsure, feel free to call us and we will be happy to talk you thru the installation process step by step so you can determine if the job is right for you.

How do I clean my new floor?
All of our products come with installation and maintenance information on or in the package to ensure that you keep your floor as beautiful as the day you put them down. We highly recommend that you ask us about Poly care is the finest line of cleaning products for woods and laminated surfaces! This is Environmentally Friendly* no rinse Formula.
