How soon will you ship my order?
We ship all Flooring Orders on the next business day whenever possible (stock permitting). Stock and Shipping delays are typically reported within 48 hours after the order has been processed via e-mail. We only ship to the lower 48 United States. If you are outside these areas, please email or call us to see if we can make special arrangements toship your flooring order to you.
How will you get my flooring to me?
Sovereign flooring system has contracts with several large freight carriers to ship your material to you on a truck. Your order will be carefully packaged and shipped on a flooring type pallet or reinforced box (for small orders). You can pick up your order at the freight carriers' local dock closest to your hometown. This is all included in your purchase price. Click here for terminal listings and transit times.
What if I want my flooring delivered to my home?
If you would like your order shipped directly to your home, there is a one time fee of $75.00. This is exactly what the freight company charges us.
What is the shipping time?
Sovereign flooring system will ship the product to a dock near you for customer pick up, or directly to your home. Transit time is usually 4 to 7 business days from our warehouse to your hometown. For exact shipping time click here and you will be directed to our shipping transit times map.
If shipping is included in my price, why do you charge a handling fee if I want the material shipped to my home or business instead of pick up?
When we ship our product to a residence or business, we must pay the shipping company a delivery fee. Since we are selling our flooring products at such a low price, it is necessary for us to pass that charge on to our customers.
Where do I go to pick up my flooring?
Sovereign flooring system ships your flooring orders to a Freight company’s Shipping Terminal or dock. Please click here for our service map which will direct you to our terminal listings page. You will pick up your flooring from the dock of your local freight carrier.
IMPORTANT NOTE: At the time you are receiving your order, we strictly advise that you check the order for damages or missing items. If you do not check the materials yourself, please make certain that the person signing for them checks for damage or missing items. Please check each carton for rips or tears on the packaging; rounded corners, denting and gouges. It is important at this stage to come up with an accurate count of damaged or missing pieces and note them on the bill of lading. If damages and/or shortages are not noted, neither, sovereign flooring system or the shipping company will be held accountable for any damages or shortages that may occur.
If upon closer inspection you decide that you might be able to utilize the damaged materials, you should still note the damages and attempt to make use of what you can. If after noting the damage you decide you cannot utilize the materials, contact us we will advise you of what to do with the materials on hand or ask that they pickup the useless materials to prevent you from having to store them. Not every order will have visual proof of damage on the outside.
If you accept a shipment and sign for no damages or shortages and later discovering that there indeed are damages or shortages hidden from view, you must contact the delivering company within 48 hours of delivery. We will be happy to answer any questions in the unlikely event that your order is damaged in shipment, and we can assure you that so long as these damages are noted properly there will not be any difficulties in the replacement process.
